odometer: 91200

Up for sale is my 88 formula semi-converted to the body style of an 85 GT. Almost everything mechanical as well as cosmetic has either been changed, upgraded, or modified on this fine example of 80's auto lore. This car runs great, stops great, and cools well (ice cold a/c). The following is a list of mods associated with this car;

1. Upgraded suspension w/ Polyurethane dog bone engine mounts
2. Recent tune up with MSD 8.5mm wires and ST Streetfire MSD coil and fresh Mobil1 synthetic oil, new fuel
pump, K&N air filter, new transmission fluid and gasket, new oil pan gasket change, new EGR valve
3. Spin-tech exhaust w/ tips
4. F-I-E-R-O Rare over head scoops and trunk lid hood scoop
5. Chrome 15" aftermarket wheels on Eagle GT 91V rated tires (80% life)
6. Fiero aftermarket side scoop
7. 85 front GT facia
8. Champion 3 row aluminium radiator and entire coolant hoses changed, 160 degree Hypertech thermostat install
9. Custom embroidered interior
10. GT Grant racing steering wheel
11. Pioneer detachable face stereo CD
12. New headliner
13. Custom glove box
14. RAZR racing seats conversion (orig. available w/ sale)
...plus more

Disclaimer: Price is firm please do not waste my time if not serious. No tire-kickers or lookie-loos. Looking for a quick sale so don't have the time for unending emails or calls. Thanks for respecting my request. Good luck!

That's a lot of car for $5500.

Hmmm... the Formula decal was applied to a part that doesn't exist on a Formula...

So if you search for the VIN the second hit is a thread on here

I wouldn't buy it without a Carfax report CA it is easy to end up with a salvage title.
This car looks like an SE
But if I run the vin through Fiero.net vin decoder it does come back as a Formula

Now it does look like a lot of car for the money. Having been around these cars for a while I would expect there is something lurking that they listed the car for that price.
Too good to be true?

He said in reply to my text that he replaced the front facia to make it look like an 85 GT
But he did say I can see the car this weekend.

Ask him if it passes California smog.

Dallas to La in just 9 years..........blazing!
Does look like a nice modded car, tho. Some nice interior add-ons. No pic of odo.

I actually like it. There are some changes I'd make (and would make some money in the process) but I like it.
The only thing that really kills it for me is that it's an automatic.

Yes the scoops would go and give some return on the sale
For my driving the auto would be a good choice.
I have been watching for a Formula to pop up, too bad they turned this one into an SE
If I go look it will be Sunday, its about a 2 hour drive.
