Electrical issues are fun! (Page 1/1)

Like the titlte says, electrical issues are run. About 3 months ago the drivers side headlight motor stopped working in the down position. Today I finally got around to working the issue and in the end it was an intermittent ground causing the issue. I tested the isolation relay, actuator relay, motor (first through the relay then independently) and was stumped. Even substituting known good parts did not identify the issue. Soooooo........I started wiggling wires. When i wiggled the ground wire the motor functioned perfectly. Upon further inspection, the lug on the end of the ground wire was corroded (on both grounds in the front) so I disassembled, cleaned, soldered on new lugs and now all is fine again. Only took 3 1/2 hours!

Near HL lift(s)?
You have two on 1 side and 1 on other and likely all need check/fixed.
Their G101 and G102. Coat w/ silicon or brake grease to keep water etc off.
