GT rear bump[er reflectors---->LED lights (Page 1/1)
Spadesluck NOV 06, 12:29 PM
I decided to change out my rear reflectors on my GT bumper with some LED's. While I was at it I changed all the rear lights to LED's. I wired them into the parking lights so that they stay on at night. I also used a trailer hitch plug on each side so that I can unplug them if I need to pull the bumper again. During the day they come on with the brake lights. Before someone mentions it I know about my third brake light slightly illuminating, I need to add a better ground to that light I think.

Here is a shot of the POINTIAC at night. I put clear LED's in here.

Overall I am happy with the way it turned out. Looks stock and not out of place to me.

Looks good! You can NEVER have enough brake lights

There is a reason for the reflectors...If you park it at the side of the road, a car driving by can see your car clearly......

But it does look cool- just don't break down in the dark!

There are also lights with a housing that are nearly a perfect fit for the reflector space. Many owners who have used the Corvette and Ferrari style light panels install these as back up lights. `
