Ive got the car wired and running but shift linkage is giving me crap anyone have any input any help would be appreciated

Try describing the problem so we can offer a solution. Did you fabricate a new trans shifter bracket and put it in in the right position? Did you shorten and reverse the trans shift lever or are you using a bellcrank to reverse the lever direction? . ------------------
