Good luck keeping your head from spinning, I know there is gonna be a LOT of info in this thread that is going to be INVALUABLE to countless others in doing this swap...

Hi Mark... Oddly enough, this is the first time I've visited your sight on PFF, since I was doing my 3800sc swap about the same time as you. Same with my 3.4 swap. With both, I just refered to your videos on you tube, and never felt a need to follow you here. Sure wish I had though, because it's really outstanding and enjoyable and entertaining for us Fiero nuts. Really enjoyed your story about your blue GT, when and how you got it and all the evolution of that car. Which makes it all the more disappointing about you wrecking it...so sad! But, the positive part is the most important part. Your daughter is well and safe. You even made me cry when you related the "I can't breath" story. Probably got her air knocked out of her for a moment . Having four daughters of my own, I could empathize totally! Looking forward to see what you come up with in your rebuilding "the blue car" and getting her back on the road. Bet your daughter just might get more involved with that build too...?

The first thing I thought of while looking at your cradle build was the fact that you did not take that opportunity to do a bump steer fix. I did mine with the cradle out, right after I got my car ten years ago. I had to, because, for some reason, it was really bad. would jump all over the road with just the slightest change or deviation in the road surface. She really hated those trucker's tire grooves on the highway. The independent suspension being out of geometric alignment, I'd have one side of the car wanting to go one way and the other side wanting to go the other. My son's '85 GT however did not seem to have as bad a reaction to the factory flaw of bump-steer.f But, we corrected them both and the improved road stability was phenomenal...! With your new restoration build, I highly recommend that you make that correction! I have instructional pictures and instructions of the process. Quite simple with the cradle off the car, but quite necessary and the improvement in drivability is amazing..! Especially if you drive autocross like you do. I also got rid of the Fiero Store rear sway-bar, which has bad geometry, and replaced it with an old Fiero front sway-bar, by flipping it over, mounting it to the rear cradle cross member with poly mounts, and drilling new holes, centered in the control arm, and using poly front end links, and cutting them down to fit for a perfectly geometrically controlled sway stability. Those Fiero Store upper shock tower sway bars really work good to to keep the frame from racking and twisting. I have pictorial instructions on custom procedure also. I can send them to you. I think I posted them on Onix Travera's (sp?) Fiero repairs and up-grades, on Facebook. 1988's of course don't have that problem, with totally different suspension system. have a good day Sir...

Dear Sir------I saw a video where you were installing cold air intake/scoop panels. Can you make me two---one for each side. My car is a grey 1988 gt. Thanks
