Since our weather finally broke here in Ohio, I've been enjoying my latest Fiero upgrade. Over the past winter I did the Corvette brake upgrade. BIG shout out to member doubleC4 for his brackets to make this work I opted for the Corvette C5 front and C4 rear set-up to retain a parking brake. The car stops like no tomorrow now!!! I've got the power to slow down the 3800 SC that will be this coming winters project. Once again this forum has helped me in a million ways. Big thanks to all of you who don't even know you helped me out. I was able to research a few things that stumped me right here and always found an answer! I'm also trying to post a couple of photos so bear with me....

Did you change the master cylinder or upgrade the booster?
I have the same set up that I'm going to install pretty soon.

I did not do the master or booster, I keep the stock units. I don't race or drive like an idiot.....too often, so I figured the stock stuff would be sufficient for me. I really liked the feel of what I had originally anyway. I am very happy with it's performance now!

Boy, those front rotors really fill up those wheels. What size tire do you have?

Wheels are 17", tires are 215/40's. I had just enough caliper clearance after adding a 3/8 wheel spacer. I even had to relocate the wheel weight from the center of the rim as it hit the caliper. It's on the inside lip now and I haven't noticed any vibrations so I think I'm ok!

Very nice car and brakes! Trying to figure out how to sneak this upgrade past the wife, if I spend to much time in the garage she knows I'm spending money. [This message has been edited by davylong86 (edited 03-24-2016).]

The brakes do look good, I just wish somehow a person could get calipers that said "Fiero GT" instead of Corvette on them.
