So I have a few fiero model kits. As you may know, they are getting more scarce and harder to find. I'd be more than happy to pay the price for a full kit if someone could 3d print some for me!! Of course they are not for resale. Just for me to build. Anyone interested?

Our 3D scanner will arrive around April. We will be scanning in MANY Fiero items. We'll share the files. You can work on them and print them (local library or a 3rd party) Well letcha know once we start.

They will let you do it, they just might not do it for you.
Assuming that we would print it and sell it, potentially violating copyrights is not a safer bet.
If your really like modeling and think a printer would broaden your options, you could always buy one. The one I own has been great, I've been running it consistently for over a year and I just now broke it(user error, broke the wire off a thermistor). I'll have it fixed with a $3 part and be back to printing. The price has really come down. My printer is now selling for $225[This message has been edited by jmbishop (edited 03-13-2016).]

What printer do you have? I thought they were MUCH more expensive. I might consider picking one up for that price...------------------ Tim '87 GT Med Red Metallic 85K miles Bay City, MI

This printer isn't for everyone, it came with 3 sets of poorly interpreted, incomplete instructions. It took about 6 hours of assembly and I've read there can be some issues with some of the stepper wires getting mixed up so a few pins need to be swapped and some small settings that need to be adjusted to utilize all of the x axis. There was no soldering and I only needed a few open ended wrenches, the rest of the tools were included.

Our scanner is scheduled to arrive in May. We then plan on scanning a bunch of different Fieros and "Fiero-related" items , and sharing the files with the class...
