I was thinking about making my own as well, I had a set I let go on my 308 rebody, should have kept them for when I got the MERA.

If I could borrow a set I would make a few but I don't even know what the originals were made from.

IIRC, the door card caps on my Mera were made of thin-ish fiberglass.

Hello all. I have a question for you all. Kinda been thinking about getting a Mera. What is the overall length of the Mera? Front bumper to rear bumper? I am wondering if a Mera will fit in the new dinky garages. LOL Yes a 88 coupe and an 87 GT have been parked in the garage with out a problem, but isn't a Mera just a little longer? Thanks! I live in Grand Rapids, MI, and some of the houses they were building 20 years ago have small 2 stall garages. LOL

The Mera sales brochure lists the dimensions as
Width - 73" Height - 46.9" Length - 172"

Im probably going to make my own. I have to get the car painted first, and that wont be until spring. Does anyone have a copy of the Corporate Concept sheet from 1987 and 1988 that listed what was included in each conversion that you could PM to me so I can make a paper copy instead of trying to zoom in on the ones posted?

So I have been on and off the forum since around 2008 when I bought my first and I'm not really big on posting much, however, I wanted to introduce my self on this thread since Nelson actually sold me a MERA from his collection. I am the proud new owner of #8095 and it now resides in my barn in Marion NY. Currently the car is awaiting paint and I have to reinstall the interior, but I extremely excited since I have wanted MERA forever!!!!!
