Barrett Jackson Fiero (Page 1/1)

Barrett Jackson is in Scottsdale Arizona this week so I decided to take a look to see if any Fiero’s might be rolling across the auction block. It looks like one went across the block today. 1987 Burgandy GT with 10,000 miles, SOLD for $10,450. Averages out to be around one dollar per mile? Wishful Thinking!!

"Averages out to be around one dollar per mile?" - Lol, I could almost pay off my mortgage!

Says 20,900 miles on B-J's website.

I'm pretty sure it goes DOWN per mile as the miles go up...

Maybe some have seen this article, but this thread reminded me of it when a friend showed it to me a couple of weeks ago.

All I know is I didn't buy mine to be an investment, so I'm glad the Fiero market is soft - if it wasn't, I couldn't own one!

I agree, I plan on holding onto my Fiero as long as I can , hopefully forever. I don’t plan on selling mine but It is fun to watch them spike up and down, just like many other cars. Also, Depending on mileage, originality, or upgrades. Either or, we all have a Love for our little cars and enjoy them in whichever way you choose to. Great article by the way, Thanks.

I've got an old Hoyer lift in the attic from my days of caring for a disabled wife.

I'm trying to envision some kind of set up in the left hand rear corner where I can fasten the hardware so I can keep driving my Fiero past age 70 or so.

It will cut the top speed for sure but the self actuating pop up headlights already keep me below 90 MPH so no loss.

One thing for sure. The buyer got taken to the cleaners. As that price for an 87 is way out of line, my guess is that its probably a first time buyer with deep pockets. Except for the 88's these are cheap cars that we are driving.
