You mean TPS Port or IAC port? If you suspect the EGR valve, you can always cut a piece of 22 gauge and place under the valve like a solid gasket. I've never messed with the IAC on these, but I know on other vehicles the motors are pretty easy to get out of adjustment, did you make sure it was in the fully closed position when you installed it?
