If you aren't attending or have read the email, you can skip this tome ;-)
Hello Fieros at Carlisle 27 Attendees!!
Thank you for your registration for the largest Fieros at Carlisle yet! To-date, there are 143 Fieros registered for this event and we have an amazing slate of events planned. You will find attached to this email our official schedule. We would also appreciate you read through this email carefully as with so many attendees there are many details that we need to share. In the event of emergencies on show days or travel to the show, contact me for my #. I recommend texting first if possible. I will have the emergency road assistance list available.
We are also in need of volunteers to help the show run smoothly. If you'd like to donate an hour or two of your time during the event, please click here to sign up. If you're willing to help and don't have a preference just let us know how much time and what days you can help. No prior knowledge is required ;-)
Parts/Cars may not be sold on the showfield. You may bring lists of parts and may place a note at the tent if you have a car for sale. Parts can be sold at the hotel and during off-site events.
First, please sign up for the "Remind" text message group for this event. This will allow us to push information out to you throughout the event. If you are reading this email on your phone, you can go to this link https://www.remind.com/join/fiero27 to sign up. You can also download the Remind app if you wish to have improved functionality but that is not necessary. If you are reading this on your computer, go to your phone, open a text and send a message to 81010 and in the body of the message type @fiero27 and then send.
Second, please bring chairs for the Thursday night cookout, parking lot hangouts and the showfield. Pop-up tents are permitted on the showfield but MUST be very secure.
Third, when you arrive at the showfield, please await direction for parking. With this large amount of vehicles, it is imperative that each participant follow parking directions and park approximately 6 feet from the other cars in your class. We also strongly recommend you verify that you are registered for the correct class so this can be addressed before you finalize your parking spot in case changes need to be made.
The remaining announcements below are event specific so please check out the info below for the events you plan on attending. Thank you all so much for joining us for this amazing event.
Best,
~ Jennifer MAFOA President

Great post. We should arrive for the Friday night pizza party but not too much before. As you know, we work on Paula's nurses hours!!! Does pizza start at 5 PM? Good idea for the people selling parts to list them at the tent. The thing that we have done in the past is to exchange pre-arranged parts sales/swaps in the Fiero section, but its like here is the part, now put it in your trunk. All and all its going to be a great event, the largest in MAFOA history. Sincerest thanks to Jennifer, the board members, and the volunteers/helpers that have made this all possible for the Fiero Community.

I sure hope we have good weather. The work done by MAFOA needs to be rewarded with blue sky's, low humidity and light breezes! I just read that the boarder to and from Canada should open on the 21st. Hopefully our neighbors from the north can make it to the show.

So far the long term weather forecast doesn't show rain that weekend and the Farmers Almanac seems to show only a slight chance. As for our Canadian friends, they should be able to make it as the border should be open. As for the job that MAFOA , the BOD and president Jen has done to promote and make this show possible for all of us; I was regularly in touch with Jen for quite a few months while this all developed and I can tell you this girl worked her tail off for days on end. She deserves the highest praise for her work. ------------------ " THE BLACK PARALYZER" -87GT 3800SC Series III engine, custom ZZP /Frozen Boost Intercooler setup, 3.4" Pulley, Northstar TB, LS1 MAF, 3" Spintech/Hedman Exhaust, P-log Manifold, Autolite 104's, MSD wires, Custom CAI, 4T65eHD w. custom axles, Champion Radiator, S10 Brake Booster, HP Tuners VCM Suite. Thanks Dennis - and everyone for helping to make this show great!
If you have not yet registered, we have 145 cars presently registered. We were able to get 150 goody bags so unless you are in the next 5 to register, the chances of getting one on day-of-show are pretty slim. Your registration prior to show day is HUGE for our planning purposes.

WOW! This looks like it is going to be one heck of a great show! Great Job Jen and all who are putting this together! Hats off!!! I am very sad that I will not be able to attend with my Fiero this year, but I am so glad to see so many people attending! I hope the weather is great for everyone! I may be attending the show, but only as a spectator. I'll have to stop by and say hi.
Good luck to all, and have a great show! Chris

Had to do a transmission swap and taking a lunch break to run up to the Fiero Store in few to grab a new radiator. I think my car might be shooting for one of those "hard luck" awards. I think we're gonna make it though! Can't wait!
