No mud flaps, but my lower rear quarter panels are painted black--I'd rather they were red.

Thanks for the measurements and the drawing Dan!
Mud flaps are very useful on the Mera, since that area is so "tucked in." I think they would look fine if done right, i.e., they don't stick out before dropping down. What would be cool if someone could fashion some "molded" flairs, I think you know what I mean. I see them on some cars, sorta like bolt-on fender flares, but they're just small pieces that go on where those flaps are located. But...on the other hand, that would then probably change the whole character of the car.

the stuff was already there....i have know idea what it is, even

i kinda messed it up....whoops, needs some touch up now.
lets see......the mudflaps, its funny Tom mentions the need and i have a pic explaining why and where....MY car is filthy!
now to JanR- he sent me a ton of pics of his car.
i asked him if he wanted to post his pics, or have me do it and have not heard....so i do not know.
i think it was exported to Sweden in 1992 (he bought it in 2002)
so its been there for awhile.  looks soo close to my car....
he did say that it was org. white and he will repaint to white....
He's our international older brother being #5 and all.
7005 is the earliest known Mera to me. Anybody else know an older one 'sides the '86?
wonder if Rodney has #1-4 on his list??
speaking of a list. do any of you '88 owners keep track of the 1988 Meras??
i really only feel strongly about the '87's because of the first run production, blah, blah.
i am a collector- rare cd's,bootleg concert videos,
bicycles, comics, cars, small metal/wood boxes...like an "American Picker"..(see that yet?)
anyway, the rarer the better....so as most of you know, i am gunnin' for 1-4....feel me?
i am just glad it was 60 all week and i got bit by the driving bug..gotta fix the Temp gauge by April 10th
thats when the Ins. kicks in....till then some touch up work.

o.k. so you all know why i have this picture....right?
but i noticed that the red tail light looks, on the bottom, like it says something....like 4 letters and maybe a #.
do you agree?....see, i have the Carello reds (maybe another OEM '87 Mera thing) on Mera X, it came that way, and there is alot of writting down there and then i noticed that the lucky "Ferrari" pictured seems to be missin' the 2 piece "red triangle" that our cars have black sail panels on....am i seeing things??
because i do know that this Movie was made in the earlier 80's right....off to investigate.

you know i think i almost bought this car. it was in the local Auto Trader up here at the same time that i was bidding
on X. it was all white then. had to let go cuz i won X on e-bay....kinda have to buy then ehh?
saved $2000. is a sticker worth 2K???
seller wanted like $11,000 or $12,000
wish i had a job.
