Put your information here, and John picks it up and puts it in his database... As of now, we don't get to see the list: Maybe someday John will get it on the Forum, which would be really nice to have for all of us.....but we just trust that he has all the information at this time. Go back a few posts to see what the Database Guy wants.

I have an 88 GT that was white (currently black). It had an automatic (currently Getrag 5 sp). It had a 2.8 (currently 3.4 OHV). It had a beechwood interior with cloth seats(still beechwood except for carpet-now has Mr. Mikes leather). Options include power windows, power locks, cruise, AC, and sun-roof. The VIN is1G2PG1190JP212133. Apparently, it was originally an Arizona car, but it made its way to Indiana before I brought it to GA [This message has been edited by carnut122 (edited 02-21-2011).]

Hi Guys,
Another one bites the dust.
The below listed 88 GT, (5 Speed, Tan Interior) had an unfortunate meeting last month (Jan 2011) with the U Pull It crusher here in South Florida.
Vin# 1G2PG1199JP213538
I wonder how many 88 GT's are still alive and well in the world?

I'll post my Formula when I get out to the garage in a day or so. It's sad to hear of these cars being crushed. I'm really not looking forward to the day when I can't find any parts at all for them.

Not to worry.....you can still rebuild a Model A Ford with things lying around....who knows how some of this plastic is going to hold up over the next 25 years, but someone will get creative. The more cars saved the better, though, and logging them into a database has to raise awareness as to how few cars there really are.

I just bought my childhood dream car. It has been in storage at a body shop in Cincinnati since 1992, with only 16,000 miles on it. It was originally sold in Cincinnati. I consider this as close to a "barn find" as you can get. With some elbow grease and a little paint, buffing compound, and reassembly, it looks literally like new. I now have it in Florence, KY (right outside of Cincy).
