I found this thread very helpful when finding the right wheels for my '88 GT. I went with Enkei EDR9s. Fronts: 17x7 (45 Offset) Rears 18x7.5 (38 Offset).

These are 17 inch AT Italia S5 wheels, pretty sure they are not made anymore.
If anyone knows where I can get some more please let me know, one has road rash and I wouldnt mind a different offset for the fronts, even if it was a different inch tire.
