Updated the steering wheel, something more comfortable. Certainly.... keeping the original wheel close by. Speaking of which; On the paddle horn steering wheel, there is a little plastic sleeve that holds the horn / spring contact in place with a 1/4 twist. I need one if someone had an extra...,

Good luck on the plastic piece. I have been looking for a while and did locate one on eBay which I purchased a couple of months ago. I have the GM part number for the package which includes the spring, plastic piece, and rod.

Is this the part you are looking for.

no, that is not the part.

Maybe mine is diferent because is has paddle horn buttton, no central "rod:". Its a 1/4 white plastic sleeve ~ 1 1/4" long with a little tab (sort of like a tab on the ole 1156 tail light bulbs). It holds the spring, and contact "button", that is connected to a wire ( not a rod). That wire goes to each paddle. Push the paddle, it grounds the wire, sounding the horn.

I had to cut my stock one to fit the momo / NRG set up.

Are you talking about the turn signal cancel cam?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/AC...349624.m46890.l49292

Dorman makes a Cancel Cam for $5.91 at Advance Auto vs. AC Delco ($19.33) on Amazon. I doubt the AC Delco is made in America.

I checked my P CAR parts book and it shows part # 10032907 for the steering wheel insulator for all fiero steering wheels. My car had the GT wheel and the insulator does not look like that part number. Your description sounds like the one I have.

YUP! Thats the one. I'm going to say the spring / rod is for the center horn button wheels, and the spring / lead is for the paddle horn button wheels.
I ordered one just to have it with my stock wheel "on the shelf". so if the stocker goes back on I'll have all the parts needed on hand.

MERA EXHAUST follow on question: If you look at my post, showing my original MERA exhaust; the tail pipes have a downward bend in the middle. It looks like Rodney's repops do not have that bend. It looks as if I need that bend to clear the bottom "return" under the trunk.
comments????

Another question: what is the surface finish on the black lower valance? smooth or textured? satin black? Mine has "some" texturing....not sure if its original or not.....

Another question: what is the finish of the stock door sills? I have a large polished stainless panel.....stock? i don't know.....

PIcts???

Thank you!

On a stock Mera Rodneys tailpipes connect to the factory muffler pipes which are higher than the muffler pipes on your Mera.

A friend bought a low mile 88 Mera and the door sills were painted body color, they look kinda plain that way. Mine were body color also when I got it. I put a set of brushed stainless I got from Vince at Snapperheads when he was still making Fiero parts. I put MERA vinyl letters on them and I think it gives a more finished look.
