I found took the 3d file of the win stands and modified it. Shrunk it down about 18 mm, and printed new stands with some carbon fiber reinforced filament. Much better

Made a beefier (and better looking) dogbone mount for the 3400

After the acquisition of my Formula in 2013, my '84 was "retired" and has been sitting under a tarp in my backyard for a dozen years. I wanted to drive it to my new place 50 miles east of here, and I was a little concerned with what I might need to do to make the car roadworthy again.

I borrowed the battery and a set of tires/wheels from my Formula, and with just the replacement of one sticking front brake caliper, I was able to make the trip with no issues whatsoever. Not only that, but I had forgotten how great the tweaked suspension feels on my '84. Even the lil' duke (with a 5-spd) felt good. Damn, I was impressed!

A photo of my '84 from years ago at autocross...

I was trying to get my radio working today. It keeps cutting out and just going to static.

It’s starting to look like a car again.
Carpet in. Seat in. Engine put together - still needs tuning. Way too much fuel. Timing needs dialed in. I’m still learning how to use the Aces software.

Once the interior is zipped up I’ll install some glass.

Parked it next to another one at Rural King. I suspect the owner works there, as the parking location was less than ideal for a customer.
