This is the first two tone Mera that I have ever seen. Is this factory paint or a respray?

It is factory paint. I attached a copy of the badge. This car was owned originally by Gerald Schavillie who was on the design team at Corporate Concepts. I spoke to him a few months ago and he believed it was the only two tone one and he also added the WORX wheels that you see. This car definitely has pedigree and I have the manuals to prove it.

It is a nice looking car with some good history. I wish you well with the sale.

Do you have the original rims? I think it came it’s the silver honeycomb ones. If not I happen to have a complete set!

I believe these were original to the car. Look at this sales flyer. The original owner was on the design team and took a few liberties.

John,

The wheels appear to be similar to the Chromadoras but I think that I see differences in the rim and the center section. I will take a closer look sometime today when I am near a set of known Chromadoras. Not the best photo for this purpose but here is an 88 with Chromadoras.

It really is hard to tell from the drawing which wheels they are. From my conversation notes he said he put the different wheels on it. Could it have been after he got it? Sure but that wasn't my takeaway from from the conversation. I think those early cars were still in the design phase. The motor plate says MERA Pontiac Racing Division on it. Have you seen that on any other MERAs?
