Sport Edition F7 17" wheels 7.5" wide 35mm offset. 225 x 45 x 17 rear and 205 x45 x 17 front Goodyear Eagle 2 tires. I chose the six spoke design for strength and appearance. Wheel studs were lengthened to meet NHRA requirements and longer lug nuts added accordingly. If you use a wheel with a thicker hub, its not a good idea to rely on the short stock studs.

I just picked up these wheels/tires form Discount Tire. Wheels are Drag 17x7.5 with 40 (I think) offset. Wheels were $115 each, but came with a $100 visa card rebate, so I paid $345 + tax, free shipping. Tires are Cooper Zeon RS3-A 225/45 R17 and so far ride fantastic (about 100 miles on them).

I wish the wheel manufacturers would get way from the open spoke look and give us some options with more metal and more conservative smaller openings in the metal. I had a great set of wheels that I purchased for my 76 Toyota Celica GT (it resembled a 65 Mustang fastback), but the metal alloy was very light. I had to get the wheels balanced regularly, or I ran the risk of wearing out the tires. Not everyone eats Rice-a-Roni, I guess. Rock on! bb

Here is my 88 Formula. 17" Mille Miglia MM11-2's on 245/45/17 rears and 215/45/17 on front. I've had these rims for 11 years and they are still flawless looking. I am kind of picky

And my old 87GT that I just sold in October.

Love the stance of the red Fiero. How did you do that, and are there any probs with clearance?
