I came here from a Mera image on Pinterest.
It makes me miss my Mera. It originally belonged to the owner of the company that made them. When I got it it only had 1500 miles. I put a Northstar engine in it. Many years ago I sold it to a man in New Jersey. I wonder if he still has it.

The New Jersey owner (Funnywheels on the Kit Car Forum) sold Bob Bracy's black Mera with a N* engine several years ago. I was supposed to be first in line when he decided to sell it but was in Iraq at the time and he never contacted me. I believe that it has been sold one time since then but do not know where it is now.
As an interesting tidbit, I also was offered the vehicle that Bob Bracy's wife drove. It was a white automatic transmission 2.8 L and had the conventional wheels and seats as extras. Recaro seats with a custom Mera embroidery and the Chromadoras were on the car when I inspected it. I did see the registration and paperwork proving that this vehicle was legitimate but ultimately decided that the price was higher than I wanted to pay for an automatic transmission vehicle.

Nelson, not to contradict you, but are you sure it was Funnywheels? He lived in Tampa, built a 355 replica, and passed a few years ago. He was ill for a while before passing.

I am ancient so my memory from 10 plus years ago might be faulty but that is how I remember things happening. I know that the Mera owner had either two or three Fieros/replicas and was ill. Maybe the third vehicle was a Testarosa rebody but I am certainly fuzzy on that one.
If the guy's name in Tampa was Bill, I also corresponded with him. I think that he had a F40 and a Mera. I had several conversations with him about JR and engine swaps in the 2006/2007 era.

It sure sounds like him. That's cool. My memory's just as fuzzy, if not worse. I followed his builds at Ari's (Madmechanics) of Funnywheels 1 & 2. I don't recall him ever mentioning the other cars.

EVM_ROB might have the Moulds to make some for you. I believe that I may have one spare set attached to door panels but would not really be interested in separating them.

If you can't get a pair of fiberglass louver panels my solution may be an option. The louvers on my Mera were warped beyond repair. I saw the louvers that Bloozeberry made for his Stinger 308 kit and did something similar for my car. I had the frames water jet cut out of 1/8 aluminum sheet. The slats are 1/16 x 1 1/4 aluminum bar stock. It was a challenge to bend the frames to match the sail panels, I used a Harbor Freight ring roller. The aluminum panels are much better than my old set that were some type of plastic, not fiberglass.
