A Real Mera in Paradise (Page 68/713)

Well, the car is in my basement garage which is fully set up with HVAC so we could ignore the humidity issue. I also have a spare car that you could use if you do not mind driving a Mera or a F308 rebody. The spare change amount would have to be negotiated. If you are serious, give me a price and I will consider it. I have the tools and equiupment here to do most anything we need.

Does anyone else have this hood alignment problem? Solutions?

Ooops, had the camera on video--don't click the image.

Looks like you need to adjust the bumpers at the back of the hood. How does it line up everyplace else?

Well, it's off the bumpers, so I guess the problem is in the latch positioning--don't know if that is adjustable. Certainly not easy like the engine compartment latch.

Just checked--pretty easy to adjust latch, captive nuts and exposed cap screws. Don't know what that will do to the fender/hood alignment, may have to reach a happy medium.

No, I was just kidding. It'll take a a pretty sweet offer to get me to go anywhere to do another install. Better to buy your familly something nice & do it yourself.

I was afraid of that but had nothing at all to loose by asking. Please let me know if you change your mind.

I thought the Mera hood is just an overlay on a stock Fiero hood. So are you able to lower the hood latch in the opening to get the hood to line up? Pics please!
