I'm finally making some progress on my Mera, hope to be able to drive is some this summer before I start on the interior and paint.
I just installed the Arraut front coilover setup with 1 1/2" drop spindles in front and coilovers in the back, where should I set the tire fender clearance?.
Thanks

What size tires do you plan to use on this vehicle?

Guys
Does anyone have the pin-out for the Vitaloni Tornado mirrors?
Need to figure out the connections between the Tornados and my 2013 Camaro power mirror switch.

Note that the original tire sizes were supposedly 245 x 50 x 15 for the front and 265 x 50 x 15 for the rear tires. I have had a lot of trouble locating the correct tires for the front wheels but have successfully used the 265 x 50 x 15 on the front.

Nelson,
Thanks for the reply, I'm trying to figure what is a good clearance to set between the top of the tire and the fender.
I have coil overs on both ends and can set it wherever I want it.
Thanks

On my 88 I am currently running 265 x 50 x 15 tires on all four corners with the Chromadora rims. There are coil overs on the rear and Rodney's one inch lowering ball joints on the front. The only issue that I have (and it is minor) is that I sometimes get a bit of low speed scrub out of the front when I am at very low speeds. It does not appear to happen at higher speeds. I have been using this combination for more than 10,000 miles and several years and would not hesitate to use it again. BTW, the visual aspect (between the tires and wheel well) is decent looking by my standards

Finally got my Mera to the point that I can drive it some, maybe do a few local shows and then start on the cosmetics.
Suspension is good, brakes work great now and the Series III SC motor runs strong and stays cool.
