I had mine modified with a 3800 sc engine and love it even more

see JanR, RexGirl,#6001 and Mera X are all SE based Mera so we are a clique now
totally cool.......that's 4 SE based Mera for the registery

I like it a lot too, Dan.....lol.....You're right though.....It does sound beefier than stock due to it having had some engine 'work', plus a Vortech Supercharger and Truleo headers.......As for the colour, well your eyes are not playing tricks on ya, Dan -- as it does have a custom deep red Metallic paint job that takes on different effects under different lighting conditions.

I haven't really opened her up too much on this motor yet, but when I did stomp the gas pedal -- She Flew --

I'm certain after you got your 3800 SC you also could really appreciate the extra 'Ooomph' forced induction has on these exotic looking babies!

I thought I heard a "whistle" in there.....you supercharged your 2.8L Fiero engine?? wow!

I do indeed love wide open throttle......the 3.8L is perfect for the Fiero. I say that for the simple fact of easy mods. I don't wrench on cars so I may not be in the know.....but a hot cam, headders, and a full stack and we are close to 350-400 HP, right? not sure but its doable for sure. I got a V8 SBC I am toying around with ideas......I need a turbo Fiero and am quite impressed with the 3800 powerhouses up here in MI in Flint. but the V8 I got, "Big Daddy Dynamite" may end up being my "Turbo Fiero" instead. not sure.....cuz I think I want a '014Vette. midlife crisis is kicking in and they are finally in my League so to speak.

now......its nice you showed me what Mera X would have looked like had I painted it that color. I have mentioned here I wanted that color......but now I have to get the Red Chrome instead. its cool............I love that color too

you need a Fiero with a 3800 SC in your life for sure. its soooo dreamy.
the 0-60 is a tight 5 seconds or less.........tons of torque off the line with upgraded suspension and brakes to top it all off.
I was not supposed to modify Mera X unless I bought the Prototype......but the chance presented itself and unknown to my knowledge #6001 was being sold at the relative same time. so its funny how life is and I feel all the better for jumping into the fire, so to speak
