Looks like it is harder to get to the engine in the Mera than in a regular GT. Going from a Notchie to a fastback I thought it was bad, but look at the opening on the Mera.

With the deck lid off it does not make any real difference and the MERA rear deck lid is actually somewhat higher than a standard Fiero one. However, it is a bit harder to install a V8 in an 88 due to the strut tower configuration and some frame rail notching will likely be required. The 3800 SC Series III also works with minimal/no mods.

Joe has the deck lid at half mast working in the Plate light if that's the "hole" you refer to.
I thought the engine and trans were installed from the underside?? in the end its in and I am getting really excited!!

Mounted 265/50-15s all around--no clearance problems. They look a little big on the front.

That is better than dry rotted tires.

I've seen this car--BIG. It really is nicely done, but it's just too BIG. Cloth interior detracts. I think it is way overpriced--for that money you could get a Mera with the swap of your choice

You've got that right. Interestingly, it handles great! Of course the old tires were really out of round.

Just recieved word that we have recieved alot of pictures for our Fiero playing cards. They will be sold thru our web site later this year. However, although we have been sent all models, we have not recieved any Mera pics. So send in those pics of your Mera. Go to www.fierofocus.com for further information. I, some day would like to own one, and I follow this forum topic quite often.
