I guess it is "Goodbye" and I will miss your common sense and judgment in practical Fiero matters!

Geez, Ogre. Don't sugar coat it. Tell us how you really feel.

Ever since I joined PFF, I've enjoyed your comments. I have used your Cave to research and resolve issues on my cars and on occasion I have been the recipient of your scathing and sarcastic comments on questions I have asked or responses I have made. I'm not the only recipient of your attention but I, as many others, accepted it as the price to access your tremendous knowledge not just about Fieros but other things as well.

Even though we are of a similar age, I looked upon you as a curmudgeonly uncle. You know the type. The one who comes to Thanksgiving Dinner and complains about the turkey being too dry, the dressing too damp, and the gravy too cold. Even then, I love those guys because they genuinely contribute and make things interesting. I have to say, however, Uncle Ogre, your response to folks that were genuinely concerned about your wellbeing is way out of line so I say this with love...

What the @#$% is wrong with you? Are you off your meds? If so, get back on them. If not for our sake, then for yours.

I truly hope that you rethink your decision and someday rejoin the forum. You have a wealth of knowlege that should be shared with new, and old, members. If you don't, however, have a nice life and remember to Vote Democrat on November 5.

Well Done!

Christ Ogre. If this is your reaction to people being genuinely concerned about your well-being, I wonder how you behave to enemies. And please, get off your high horse. Calling new Fiero owners "Noobs" that are boring because they ask the same question and are not up to your "standards" is probably one of the most arrogant things I've read on the forum for a long time.

You know, I, as many others, was genuinely concerned about your well-being. We have lost too many members in the (recent) past. Members who stopped posting from one day to another - just like you did. And most people here have high regards of you. Like me. Not anymore. You have become an arrogant prick. A know-it-all that puts everyone down who has a different opinion than yours. You've changed from a friendly, knowledgeable, respected and valued member into an all-hating a****** who rejects any knew knowledge that comes along.

I, for one, can't care less anymore about your well-being from now on. Go f*** yourself, Dave.

PS: Nobody "doxed" you (first, get a dictionary and lookup its meaning). Your information is plastered all over the internet and it took me a whole 3 minutes to find. Also, it's complete bullcrap that my mail ended up in your spambox.
PS2: Am I out of line for saying all this? No, not after the crap you just posted. So go double f*** yourself.

Didn't Ogre have a stroke some years ago? And now he wonders why some might have the audacity to worry about him when he goes quiet.

I recall him using the stroke as an excuse for his occasional gruffness and/or lack of tact. Turns out, maybe it wasn't the stroke after all?

Hello,

Gonna throw my hat in the ring here.

Ogre, I'm glad to hear you are alive and as much of a bitter, jaded pain in the rear as you have been recently. But ya know what dude, take your **** and leave. I have only been a part of this community a few years, I never knew you in your golden years as some of the old timers do around here, but I have always respected you as a knowledgeable and valuable person to the community. It seems now the only thing you like to do now is remind everyone how f****** stupid they are and how you know better than actual engineers with your 2-bit anecdotal evidence and zero effort to back up any of your claims. But people trusted you anyways since you are knowledgeable.

Now you, in your old age, have the f****** audacity to rip on people for making sure you are alive. Well congrats bud, no one is gonna check on you now. I hope you are happy with leaving this community not as a respected wealth of knowledge that you were, but as the bitter jaded a**hat that reminded everyone in his last moments on the forum of how awful of a person you really are.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Being a stroke survivor myself; that emotional journey can change a person!

And I understand 'why' falling in "the dark side" and the challenge getting back to the light isn't 'easy'......I took around eight years!

So, I can see both sides of the coin and my hope that he can return......or not.
