Does anyone still build or care about 308 body kits? (Page 5/11)

Grrr why does stuff like this come available after I spent my wad for the year!!! I have been looking for a 308 kit for 4 years and from what I see in the pics most of it is there! I would bet you could rob parts of a aldino kit to fill in the blanks. If you do manage to salvage some of this I might be interested next april after tax time again.

I dropped by, but the guy was busy and hasn't done anything more with the parts. I really think that if someone shows up with some cash and a big trailer, they can have this stuff dirt cheap

Be prepared to spend 1-2 days digging through crap to get all of it, since a lot of the parts are buried withing mounds of crap

Thanks for the response!

Will be doing some investigating, then might be back in touch.

Thanks again,
HAGO!

Just thought I'd get back to this thread like I intended to after we got some of the forms sorted out.

It was mentioned earlier that there were forms that "looked" like they might make wide body parts for at least the rear of these cars.

We finally got the forms situated and took a couple parts out. Here are some pics of what they make. Haven't worked with them other than to pull them from the forms and what you see in these pics, but it looks as though with some work, they would lend themselves to a wide body project that several people have talked about doing. You can see where they somewhat resemble the pictures posted in this thread and elsewhere of the outlandishly wide f-car. Not sure what all it would take to adapt them to that end, but they don't look that far off to me. The rear quarters are just kind of held in place with a clamp on the body shown to give an idea of what could be done. There is enough material in them to cut back and graft in as much as you want, or it looks that way to me.

So anyway, here's the pics:

Next are what I'm calling the "wide rockers":

So....there ya go...
