Finished pulling a 4.10 4 speed from a parts car, cleaning it, ground out the webbing for a N* starter, mating it to a dummy block, aligning it in a spare cradle, designed the rough drawings for motor mounts, PayPal'd Ryan Hess for his chip, software, and instructions for a 7730 ecm to control the N*, pulled the 4 cylinder fuel lines out of the parts car, pulled the shifter and shift cables out of the parts car, and a few other minor details.

I finished replacing a leaking gas tank and fuel vapor lines on my yellow '88 notchie. Kudos to Brad who helped me find a new used tank and ditto to Dustin for letting me purchase one off his parts car! She's back on the road! WOO HOO!!!

Moved the Fino out to the empty garage in my empty rental house next door. (I sure hope I get a tenant soon!)

No time to work on the car since it will most likely be sold in October. Now it's time to get to the T-top that's still in my garage. Another Fino body would be nice, and I'm leaning toward an SC3800 over an SBC.

Lildevil, I thought the decklid was already painted? Wait - that's a new bump on the deck, right?

Replace both parking brake cables, ordered two new calipers for the rear. I got a wheel I had order from the UPS guy, and set it on the rear axle to check clearance. Cut 9" out of the drivers side coolant tube that was bent to heck and flat. Cleaned and repainted the two heat shields from the engine compartment. Seems like the more I fix, the more I find busted ,broken ,seized up or rusted . Removed the shifter to make it a short stick shifter.
