hey Rodney, whats up? thanks for that info. this question was 3 down on the list for all of you here. yes, i have a preconcieved list of questions for y'all. i got a hyper-mind, and hyper minds need venting.
saaaaay.. i hope the previous owner or youself, Mr. Holmes, rounded off them tips, for sick of getting cut??
mine are really sharp. but look soo awesome.
thats cool about the black fade. i wondered about the silver color since all Meras i have seen up to now had black. I prefer the silver because i got them fly silver rims. so i did not care if it was not stock. its nice to know that mine may be stock. just worried about the points on mine now?
what do you say Mr. Dickman? Pointed or not pointed?? this will be an offical Mera trait added to the fourms archive of Mera attributes.
a list question of mine, for all of the Mera owners is. Will my new Fiero GT "lace" type wheels need a spacer to match any difference in body panels?
I ask this to you all because most, actually all of you seem to have the Cromodora style and i do not know if they have spacers? if a spacer is needed do any of you have maybe a part # or brand name??
them GT rims painted gold with the lower half of the car painted black is as close to a Ferrari as i'll go.
love that color combo. soooo 80's.
i have a Lotus on the line i want to lowball a sale. oh? here it is:
see? thats a red car with no black lower half. now i will need a red car with a lower black half. Right???
yeah....that car will be Mera X.
whoops....i have strayed....

yes its the 930 that had the big tail for the street cars. as far as the ferrari polize they cant touch a mera, its a pontiac and not advertised or spoken as a 308. my opinion is they cannot do anything to or about a mera otherwise they would have in the beginning when they had corporate concepts quit building and had the original molds destroyed. since they didnt have that kind of authority then i would think they still DO NOT have that kind of authority now. just my thought dan. anyone else wanna comment on the subject? mike [This message has been edited by mera7 (edited 11-25-2009).]

I'm wondering if the sharp-edge ninja style that you have are characteristic of 87's only? We need more folks to chime in.
Dick, I really like the look of yours with the silver edging! But I'm wondering how to achieve that look? Paint the whole grill black, then mask off and paint the edges silver? Or paint the thing silver, mask off the edges, and then paint black? Dang, whichever, we're talking about a lot of detailed work with the number of vents! And I'll probably have to let the paint dry at least a week in order to use tape over the fresh paint. And the plan is to reinstall using stainless steel fasteners. LOL...sounds like a good winter project. Ooops...forgot, that won't work here!

Aloha Mike,
I was referring to the rear deck lid vents. Look at that first pic that reholmes posted above. That's the rear deck lid. I've never seen the top edges painted silver like that. Kinda cool, matches the quarter sail panels. I'm just wondering what's the best way to paint that...we're talking about a lot of vanes on that deck lid vent.
