If you still like your older radio, you can install something like an iSimple Bluetooth transmitter, it wires in-between the radio and the car, and turns on and off automatically. I had great success using that with my Firebird radio for a long time before I switched to a double din Sony radio a month ago. I need to find a better matching paint but it's good enough for now.

When I wanted to upgrade my radio, I went6 with what I consider the best of both worlds. I went with a very nice 1.0 DIN radio and used an adapter to fit the stock place. The head unit has a 7" pop up screen, had built in GPS, CD/DVD play, aux in/out, Performance Sound, and a nice equalizer. I am quite happy with this setup and would recommend it to anyone.
