The disassembling continued....fortunately a lot of the parts could be used on the 3.4L conversion which certainly saved me money!
A shot of the pulley area:
The fuel rail is off, it certainly was "gunky":

The front exhaust manifold was cracked, "of course", though this picture doesn't really do it justice. It just gives another example of how filthy the engine was!

A close up view of the rear - gotta love the oil and "gunk" everywhere! It sure looked "crusty"!  (That was especially for Jncomutt!)
I'm honestly not sure if my dad and I took so many wire pictures because he has an electrical fetish  (he is an electrical engineer by trade) or if because he was afraid old fogey memory would kick in!
This wire was ran very carefully through this bracket so we were sure to get a closeup...in fact it's such a closeup that I can't tell you where that wire originated!

This bracket was so small that we were sure we would forget where it went!

Time to flip it over and take off the oil pan...not sure I want to see those bearings though!

I still remember (and appreciate) when you gave me a ride from the hotel to the track at the 20th anniversary.

Thanks guys! I will try to get more on at some point this week! Lunch with a friend and horse stuff today. Horse show tomorrow and I may go in to work on Thursday....gotta start getting used to the "W" word again. But I'll fit some in!

Ironic, just went searching for this only to see its been bumped within the past month.
BUMP again.
How are things Jen? I really need to make some time and come visit. I can drive my bike over (Fiero is currently away for the season, although still untagged, unregistered, and uninsured...blah to all the moving around the country).
