Will be doing the Mosquitos Drag Race at Lurcy-Levis (France) this week end.
Wish me luck because it's a 1200km round trip to get there and back!

Looks like we're back on!
My registration is still valid, so it's drag racing in September for me!
(With a car transporter and not staying on site after hours  )

Got the FFSA licence back today all signed up.(Individuel trackday insurance from the french motorsport body)
So unless a complete rained off week-end, it seems that this event will be happening. At last !!

And the local authorities along with the motorsport federation have approuved this event.
It's a big step to help promote legal drag racing events here in France:

Is street racing not a problem in France? Having sanctioned drag strips would seem to be a way of giving young (and old ) gear heads a legal outlet for their need for speed. My outlet for years was autocross (which I hope to eventually get back into).
