November's featured auction item is a beautiful set of powdercoated parts to dress up the engine compartment a 2.8/3.4L Fiero. You are bidding on a set of powdercoated upper plenum and Valve covers in the factory style red *and a lower plenum in polished aluminum powdercoat* (not pictured here). Bid here: bit.ly/mwfc40 These pieces are donated by Jesse Smith. Winner will have the choice of engraved or a sticker.
Bids will be accepted in $10 increments; however, you will have the option of identifying that you wish to utilize your max bid. What this means is, for example, even if you could win an item for $20, if your max bid is utilized and you set the amount at $50, the latter amount is what you will pay. This will allow individuals the opportunity to donate more to the Celebration treasury. Additionally, bids are taken in the time-stamped order they are received, so if you and another individual both bid the same amount, the first bidder is the winner.
Bidding will close promptly at 9:59 PM EST on December 2. Form submissions are time-stamped. Therefore, no submissions stamped after 09:59:59 PM EST will be accepted. The highest bids at that point will stand. Bids will be updated at least nightly through December 2, then hourly from 4 to 9 PM, then "real-time" in the last hour.

Our next featured auction item is a once in a lifetime experience! Bid at http://bit.ly/mwfc40 for the opportunity to sit "shotgun" in 1984 Indy Pace Car #3 as it paces a group of Fieros in the parade laps at the M1 Concourse on track day at the 40th!
This is one of the 3 GM-Built Pace Cars created to pace the 1984 Indianapolis 500. 3 cars were built in case any ran into issues, and this particular car was the "media darling" of the trio, used for numerous photo opportunities in the lead-up to and during race weekend. The car's performance package was designed by John Callies and includes a 2.7L Super Duty 4 cylinder capable of putting out 232 horsepower that propelled the car to a record-breaking 144mph four-lap average. Following the Indy 500, Indy Pace Car #3 started pace car duties with PPG in June 1984 in essentially the same form as it participated in the Indy 500 with various graphics changes and a few extra safety upgrades. At the end of the 1985 Indycar race season, Fiero Pace Car #3 had a major makeover with the addition of a DGP Aero Widebody, custom experimental paint, and engine upgrades that brought the engine horsepower up to 280 HP. Fiero Pace Car #3 remained active with the PPG Pace Car Fleet until mid-season 1987, pacing several Indycar races in the United States and Canada when the car was retired. See more info at the auction page!
Bidding will close promptly at 9:59 PM EST on March 2.

Bid at bit.ly/mwfc40 for our March featured auction item! The chance to have YOUR car displayed front and center in the hotel lobby of the Auburn Hills Marriott for the duration of the 40th Anniversary Show! There will be two total slots available for a car to be displayed, surrounded by stantions/roping, in the main lobby of the Marriott. This month's auction is for ONE of those two slots. Have an amazing car you'd like to show off for the world to see? Well, all eyes will be on it as it occupies a central location during the 40th Anniversary Celebration of the Pontiac Fiero Presented by M1 Concourse. While many spots exist for indoor display, only two spots will be front and center! Now is your chance to occupy one! A few conditions do exist - the car will have to have less than 1/4 tank of gas when it enters the building and should not have significant leaks (plastic will be strategically placed under the car). Additionally, the car will have to be loaded in no later than Thursday AM and remain there until Sunday following the awards breakfast. Your bid will include the "indoor display fee" but does not include fees for the show and other events. Bidding will close promptly at 9:59 PM EST on March 31! Estimated Value Retail: Priceless! Are you registered for the 40th? www.Fiero40th.com
