Hahah... I think you actually said SH1T instead of SHIFT.

I think I've seen a leather T-shift knob before, I might even have had one on my Fiero before... but I wasn't aware they actually came with the Fiero. But I guess they do? Were there any other GM cars that used the same automatic shift knob as we have?

Ok, I just did some eBay snooping... looks like our same T-handle shift knob was also used on the 82-02 Firebird / Camaro, and even the earlier Saturn vehicles. I was always under the impression that the leather ones came from the later Firebirds.

There were a quite a few gm cars with that shifter, my dad's 1989 Cutlass Ciera had it, his 93 grand prix has a newer version of it I think.

i present the golf club. i hated this shift knob in the gtp it came out of and now you punch the climate controls in park so its arguably worse

Had one in my SSEI and in the Fiero I never hit the Controls. Easy swap.

this 84 fiero and 95 grand prix knob both seem to be a little taller than normal, the grand prix knob was a half inch taller than normal in its grand prix anyways
as for this 84? its been a weird child needing extremely weird early parts and missing certain things it should have

I used a shift knob from an IROC-Z and did so on 3 of my Fieros. They still sell them on JEGS.
