That car was the subject of a big discussion on Facebook a few months ago and we’ve been after the Vin all this time. It was on Craigslist as well. Someone PLEASE get the vin !

Yes PLEASE post the vin# I have been asking for it many, many, many times and fiero people continue to go get parts from it, but don't get the vin# Please help the fiero t top community as well the fiero t-top registry. Even if someone can call the place and get the vin# anything Please listed on here... Let's work together and get this done.....
It is a CJB car and we can see it's Red with a gray interior and automatic with power lumbar and lots of pictures but no Vin number yet
SO PLEASE HELP......

Not trying to be a dick... but how does getting the VIN help anything or anyone? Cars change ownership or status on a daily basis. They get sold, scrapped, etc. so any database will be out of date and inaccurate in a short amount of time anyway- so I am just curious how the VIN helps anyone to achieve anything? Again, I am not trying to be an ass, just curious?

For those of us who like the hobby, it is helpful to understand what was built and how much we know about it. It's kind of like the antiques road show, which valued 'provenance' ,or the supporting information about an object, nearly as much as the object itself. The car is very unusual to begin with, but when you realize there are only so many left and they are disappearing fast, it is more attractive to a potential new collector, deciding if they want to get into the 'old car' game and not sure which brand to pursue.

Its also possible this car is on the VIN list and maybe even has been there for 10-15 years but if it gets scrapped in 2019 its kind of nice to know that so it can be updated on the list.

Do you, or anyone recall how long it was on Craigslist?
Or why it didn’t sell? It looks like it was complete enough to sell as a roller.
Unless the guy was thinking it was a $5k car and wouldn’t budge.
Obviously no help now. I wish I would have seen it. ------------------

Good eye Gall, I didn't even see that. When I bought my Formula, the PO had Cavalier seats in it but he took them out and gave me a pair of pristine lumbar seats instead because he really wanted the Cavalier seats for his other project Fiero. SMH So now I have lumbar seats in my Formula but it makes me nervous every time I sit down in it for fear of ripping the upholstery! he he
