Good point.

That's the last stop before that Fiero hits the junkyard.

Nobody will want it afterwards.

I rode in his car during the 35th. It has that great rat rod feel that is of my personal preference. It has way more power, way more thought, and gets way more looks than my fairly stock Fiero. It will not be everybody’s taste, but it is the owners taste and that really is all that matters. I’m certain this wasn’t a low mile, all original, desirable car when it was first obtained, so why not make it a fun car.

Whats your point?

I can't think of a single person that I know that would rather have a stock v6 built in the 80s over this by the way. If you think the point of this build is so that someone will want it afterwards I'd say you aren't on the same page. He calls it the deathtrap fiero build...

My point was in response to Neils88's comment, which suggested that this particular Fiero may have been saved from the junkyard.

My assertion is that yes, while this car may have indeed been saved in the short term, the junkyard fate for this Fiero has only been postponed by one owner.

I never insinuated that the build was intended to have appeal to future potential owners.

I can think of someone who would rather have a stock 80s V6 car than this... myself. That's why I bought a bone stock Fiero to molest and render less palatable to the public as I modify it to my tastes. A clean canvas is far more appealing to the artist. The result of someone else's imagination... less so.

Beyond a certain point of modification, cars become unsellable. They are parted out instead.

Considering his garbage doesn't run, I'll take the stock 2.8.

Especially since nobody has ever had reliability issues with the stock 2.8...

They typically don't if they are competent or use a competent mechanic. All old cars that sit are going to have problems, but again, competence is the cure.

I must say show the youtuber, as well as us, your competence.
