so is it just me or does the rear look Jacked up in that pic above?
my car looks that way cuz i got 16" in the back.15" up front. but the picture here with Jeff it looks all even and low.

i guess the kid could be sitting on it? i like it high in the back!!! tall tire with wide tread. i am gonna try the white letters....ohhh maybe a photoshop request from ole SEnotchie.

i need tires soon anyway. may have to splurge before the Lay off.

batousai666,

Yes, Jeff was sitting on the back of the Mera when the picture was taken, but it is not jacked up at all in the rear. The Goodyear tires are p255r60/15 in the back and p235r60/15 front. If my memory serves,
the height difference between the two sizes is somewhere around 1 1/2 inches. For an idea of scale, Jeff is 4'30" tall (ahhhh...that's 6'6") .... the same height as me. We both fit into our respective Fieros
with headroom to spare!

The local Goodyear dealer charged $440 for the tires, mounting and balancing, plus $6 each for recycling-disposal of the old ones that had been on the rims. He let me supervise the balancing process, because I wanted all wheel weights on the inside of the rim (no gouging up the rims with clip-on wheel weights). I didn't think that was too bad of a price,
and the car handles very well with these tires.

CRAP NO LUCK!

Dan, i did read that you have the stock suspention. and if Jeff is sittin and pushing down on the rear....is this why in that school pic your car looks "even"?
my car has the illusion of jacked uppediness.....i thought, cuz of my 2 rim sizes. i am not so sure now.
hummmmm....? now i got to stare at Mera Pics for a long time.....back later
