A Real Mera in Paradise (Page 141/713)

I could use a hand with some info if anyone knows where I can obtain a lower front airdam (valence) for my 328 replica. It looks unbalanced without one.

Wow! Info overload in just the past few days!

Joe...did you post a construction thread on that Mitsubishi dash install? I would not alter my Mera, but wow, that would look awesome in my 88GT.

Open question, more out of curiosity. If 247 Meras were built (or I guess 248 if we include the 86 prototype), how does the Mera stack against other "production" cars? Are there other production cars with lesser totals?

There were less than 100 Etnterras--some say only 28. As for the Fiero-based Zimmer, I believe only 170 were built. OBTW, there were only 712 plastic F-308s.

Tom,

Here are some stats for you to get started.

In 1969 Pontiac built 697 Trans Am's. Of that eight (8) were convertibles. In our Fieros the closest production total is the 241 yellow 88 GT's like the one I just sold In 1972 Pontiac only built 1286 455- HO Trans Ams in white, blue, or the extremely rare red SCCA model, of which eight (8) again were produced. (See a pattern here) Of the remaining 72's only 211 Lucerne Blue ones were built. A blue one is in my garage

I forgot about those Enterra's! I wonder if they bought Fiero's right off the line to convert? I'm thinking they did.

Rick...I hate you!! You have too many toys! Nah, just kidding! I'm still trying to find a way to bribe the wifey so I can make an offer on that 88 Formula on the Big Isle.

Tom,

I have owned the 72 455-HO Trans Am since 1981. My wife told me that was the only car I could never sell. It will pass everything, except a gas station.

On the Formula, tell the wifey it is for "her". Hey, the silver Vette is titled in my wife's name.

Sorry Tom, no construction pics yet. It's only temporarily in place, I need to take parts apart to fix some A/C ductwork and hopfully get the defroster portion working. I'll try and do some pics. It sits just a hair low and kinda restricts room for the knees but it's useable. Still working out the bugs.

you aint just whistling Dixie

the way i see it....with the 1988 Fieros being the final upgrade, with new suspention and the lot....the '87 and '88 could be seperate due to that major difference in the two alone.....it would also bring the total number of each down too boot.
1- ( '86) 88- ( '87) and 159- ( '88) ohhh... man, soooo many 1988's
this is just a humble opinion
