Ok Mera guys, I know this is "off topic", but I am selling my factory yellow 88 GT 5-speed. For those that don't know, it is one of only 241 ever produced. This is a great running car that I have taken good care of over the years. If you know anyone looking for a nice 88 GT have them PM me. You can check it out http://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum4/HTML/052579.html in the "Mall".
Hey, first on this page....Ownage!! [This message has been edited by Rick 88 (edited 07-02-2010).]

and speaking of Richard. hey Holmes? what are you gunna do with your hurting Mera?...time to nurse it back to health....hope "they" give you some good money for it. i can be fixed right? is it real bad? i hate to ask but, do you have any pictures??? no pressure..
you know? we need to actually Value in Dollars what a fair Ins. claim/ buy out/ not sue your ass for hitting me and wreaking my limited edition slow down, buddy (sorry).....car settelment "should be" i will not get in to Richards business for the $$ amount but the Panels new are Quoted at between $10,000-$12000+ IN 1987.....with rarity in the Mix what should the Mera part be worth? yes i am going to say this, but if a restored, partial OEM Mera body is transfered (such as in Richards case) to a new Fiero, is it still a Mera? Hell YES. as much as a "restored" old GTO or Model T.
Mike comes in with his panels made with new modern, space age polymers. kevlar was it not??.....The TellTale difference some crass fellow may have mentioned, afore.
but no seriously:wink: i am trying to goad Mike to start thinking about say, Me when i hit a tree at the track some time soon and need a panel or two.or if i need a job as door to door salesman selling his wares. (dream job) or again, Richard who may need a source for him to pull a replacement $$ figure for the INS. CO.to get this ball rolling. again NO pressure guys.
sorry i start to act like a dictator if i dont eat....soo its off to the dinner station.....comrades.... laters fellow humans.....man my blood sugar must be real low..... nighty-night D

Indiana resto guy, Sorry, been away from the computer since yesterday...work gets in the way of fun. The carb is the original Holley 2818. Everything under the hood is stock except for the dual master cylinder, which I insist on if I'm going to drive an old car or truck. That conversion has been made on a '62 Chev Apache that I started working on a few years ago. That's another story. Maybe I'll finish it after I retire. But you're absolutely right. Ya gotta love a car that has enough space in the engine bay that you can literally climb in there and work on it with room to spare. The Fiero's give a person a LOT of appreciation for this simplicity and spaciousness!
I didn't realize there are so many Mera owners on here. I told my wife tonight that I'm thinking about pulling it (the Mera) out of the storage barn and driving it a bit. It hasn't been out yet this year. Might as well enjoy it. It might be nice enough next week to go for a drive up the North Shore (of Lake Superior). Nice scenic drive and curvy road.
Anyway, you guys are getting me to think about it!
~~Dan

GMplastic I can surly understand the duel master, works the brake much better. Do you have an outlet for carb kits? I thought that I was planning ahead on mine, got two left. It's a 67 Barracuda rag muffin and I could drop a back pack down the sides or the front and pick it up off the ground.
So many Mera owners? Some of us could be termed Meras owner LOL. I have three. I DID take one out today that has been in the barn since last spring (2009) and did some romping on it, sounds so good with 30k.
