Check out the Fiero F355 Spyder on eBay--pretty, http://tinyurl.com/yb5ld76 . The question becomes, why would you want 1 of 12000 (in the case of the F308) when you can have 1 of 248.

Even if he had all of the info right wrt years (and he most certainly does not), I am not even convinced that this is a Mera.

Supposedly there was only one 1986 Mera, and that's probably more folklore than fact--Rodney should know.

I have seen this. this may be the article cuz, it was Rodney I got info from. Funny, this Mera-NSX is the guy I bought my '87 stock Mera from. see his sig.
This is the thread where he states in his 3rd post about my Mera not having the Back up lights. this thread got me going on the Mera build # quest.
To me, he states that "my" Mera did not have the Ford back ups. Or that it had the "308 light configureation". same thing right?? This started all my rants in another thread I started in the tech part of pennocks, titled "Mera owners in Michigan, HELP". please help clear any misinterpation i may be having. thanks.
Also do we know if the "'86" proto MERA was built on an '85 Fiero SE??? My '86 built Fiero SE has such a low '87 Vin# that it could be the '86 proto without back ups.unless it was built on an '85.
this is also, I think, where I got Rodney to explain that not all '87 Meras may have had Back ups. its very confusing. so I gave up.
Seeing that I cannot find the Build # I refer to My MERA as FrankenMERA, or MERA X. not being a DOCUMENTED MERA, with references I found in the archives I concluded that this "MERA X" is a salvage mera package installed on a '87 Fiero. and will swap engines later. if it were a REAL MERA i would consider keeping her stock. anyways thanks for the links/info. Breakfast time, be back later- D
