It is unfortunate how many people "talk a good game" . You really know someone's character when it is time to pull out their wallet. Keith invested time and money in this project , and many of us signed up as clients , which encouraged him to continue with the project. I don't need a set- mine are perfect, and I have another OEM perfect spare set. But my name was on the list, so when Keith reached out, I kept my word and ordered a set months ago- have never even opened the box since it arr ived.
Point is, we need to stop being cheapskates- It is unfair to make promises, especially to a small business owner and then walk away. He took the gamble, kept his word, delivered, and now it is our turn to keep our word.
BTW, I see absolutely nothing wrong with Slammed's question, it is a valid one. Keith, it would help you to open your mind to the modern way of selling. Costs nothing to get a Wordpress site, or to list these on Amazon, eBay, etc. We all want you to be profitable- you deserve it

Thanks for the great feedback. Save for the smack from "The Virus" our sales graph is shaping up about how we expected. At this point, we are able to maintain our predictions (not counting the virus) and keep the middleman cut for ourselves. eBay, Amazon are great platforms but they take a cut out of our profits and this could cause a dent in our cheese budget for George! Keep in mind GM and the decorator take a cut of each lens set and in turn a cut in the profit. By the time expenses are subtracted there would still be something of a profit but right now, we don't need to cut our profit. We are approaching our break even point I would say in another quarter and that is OK with my financial advisor. What the Fiero community needs to be thinking about is do we order another 1000 lens sets or perhaps move on to another project. I do find it hard to believe we will have satisfied the market with the remaining lenses.

Hey Keith
A suggestion, If you don't want to use eBay , Amazon, etc. put some free ads on Kijiji, Craigslist, Facebook, .. There are lots of Fiero owners who are not on Pennocks. Place an ad in different states, Canadian provinces, etc. Just call them Fiero GT tail light lenses. Keep the ad simple, no need for a life story. You may get some easy sales from people that don't know about your product currently
Good luck![This message has been edited by cam-a-lot (edited 06-30-2020).]

I already am on several threads on FB. I would think that through FB and word of mouth and some advertising campaigns I've sold over 300 sets over there not including the waiting list of a couple of hundred. I've even had some luck on Craig's List too!. I've sent out some bulk emails to former customers and have gotten hits from them as well. All in all, except for the virus thing sales are pretty close to our predicted curve. I've had good feedback from folks who have heard from previous buyers. I am also international now with lenses sprinkled around the world.

I agree with Keith on this. He does NOT need middlemen this time because this is a limited run. No sense in losing more money to middlemen on top of GM's fee along with decorator.
I think the interview with Keith about his lens in the Fiero Focus magazine was a HUGE marketing plus.
B/c of the virus & job market, the rest of customers are kicking the can further down the road, but they will come rushing before it ends.
I could not thank Keith enough for coming thru with this challenging project for the Fiero community.
Folks, remember, this is likely ONCE IN A LIFETIME opportunity. Don't miss out on buying one if you have a fastback.

Goody you are a whiny Jerk... You spam every facebook group about how tough it is to deal with GM and how they take all your money and no one wants to buy your lenses. Then when anyone gives you legit feedback you turn into a real a s s h o l e. You did a good thing for the community but that does not mean you should hold everyone responsible for your terrible agreement with GM. You want to make more money.... I get it... Thats cool, but dont act like you are going broke when you have several large scale outlets at our disposal you refuse to use because you want a bigger cut. Stop saying you need to feed a stuffed rat. That is gross I the only thing I can think of when I see that thing is filth and disgust. Its not mickey mouse. Its a gross little rat and is disgusting. I was glad when you got blocked from groups for spamming them... they should of left you out. Im tired of seeing your begging for money rants everyday with a nasty rat.
Stop being a d i c k to everyone.
