errr, i no help....that was Tom. i do not do electronics.... when i think i am done they never work....therefore i cannot "DO" electronics. i try. but never achieve. ask my temp gauge...sad panda time for me....

i did notice however that my HazFlashers are wired to the blinkers. both ambers and reds come on.....also noticed that its not just the screws that are rusty. My whole (lookin in, right side) brake light assembly is toast...the top socket is fuse rusted half way up. this concerns me for the fact that.....no wait, this a good thing. should mean that its been there awhile, NO?????

Rick, i do know "....Your Sunday project" is My new Saturday project....the wire splices look OEM so that i guess is a good thing. for now! we'll see.
later and good Marnin', Wood!

Hey Dan...almost right! There were two small deer in the back of that truck. They apparently have a number of "deer parks" in Korea.

All of my rear light sockets are standard Fiero, the type that takes a quarter turn to lock in. But then, I have the standard lenses stamped with "MERA 1" on them.

Interesting...from 86 Prototype to 88, I guess they never quite "fixed" that rubbing that occurs on that black triagular piece on the front door window area.

I have not had time to check my taillight yet. Do I need to remove the black cover behind the trunk to access them? On that rubbing between the door and triangular piece. Do all Mera's do that. How can it be adjusted?

(in my best whine)...."But what about the light sockets." they are all one. if they sell loose sockets, i guess....but that is messin with electronics. i sence a short or worse a fire. kidding...the socket itself is all rusted will not make connection. thats why the light bulbs are out. no metal, no short. the brackets are save-able. i will look for replacement sockets in the morning.

i am wishing that the Carellos on my car are a very early sign of Mera. like #7001 early. a carry over -first production "bug".
so exciting.

Rick, yes i have removed my black alum. cover in back. its the first thing i did. have yet to put it back in.

you call them Deer. i still see a Moose in the closer to us, half...huh odd? we have so called deer parks here in MI! why i do not know. i had 11 big suckers in my yard at one time eariler this spring. ohh and in 3 years the police have shot 3 from accidents also in my yard. I still like mooses better.

on to the scuff.
my drivers side has it, but the pass. side does not. odd. to fix i feel a shave is in order.

anyway, too the morning.

dan, go to walmart and buy some inexpensive trailer light kit and take them apart and take the bulb sockets out of them and transplant them into your brackets. mike

really??? that simple??
i do not trust electricity. the stuff is way more radical/unpredictable l than i am. no control. soo i am very apprehencious....some may say "scared" and too a point, yes.

stupid invisible killer. i got between 2 of the big black fuses (480) in a freeze drier at Pfizer, it took ahold....almost. all i could hear was a loud HUM. no voices. just a hum, in my head. the last thing i remember saying to myself was...."what is my boss going to do with that 2x4"??? thats when i pulled my finger out. big lesson that day.
if i had touched the fuse, BLAMMO, i would not be here now. that shook me to the core. a feat not so easy. i must say.

anyway i trust you and will DO this. thanks Mike!

errrrr........that is all. for now

hey dan, you gotta be careful with three phase 440v stuff.... one of my other companies that i own is a building inspection company. you gotta respect 440 three phase. but taillamp bulb sockets are very doable.... mike in oklahoma
