Havent seen anyone defending Obuma tapping Trump campaign phones yet...

I also seen CNN reported Donald Trump uses Russian dressing too.

First, there is no evidence that this even happened. Trump is making up a claim with nothing to show for it, per usual. Evidence and Evidence two, and Evidence three
Second, the president can't not order wiretapping against an American citizen. The only way that this can be done is via a warrant, which is pretty self incriminating against Trump..

Regardless, I have not said anything because this is another distraction by Trump. True, it further shows his stupidity by just reading Breitbart/Fox News and regurgitating headlines instead of actually gathering information for himself, but it is ultimately irrelevant.

Trump still doesn't have a cabinet, still has been unable to confirm a supreme court nominee, and the republicans still haven't "repealed and replaced" the ACA, despite promising to. Trump and his team will do ANYTHING to keep those headlines from showing up, and making outrageous unsubstantiated claims is exactly how they are doing so.

Because it is complete and utter . The President doesn't have the ability to order a wiretap of a US citizen. NSA/CIA/FBI/etc… have ability to make a request for a wiretap, but it must be approved by a judge. If any wiretap was approved by FISA, then it means Trump was suspect in crime of one of those agencies.

And pretty much everyone who was in positions of power for that, at the time, have all come out and called it what it is, .

Trump tweeted that, based on a Breitbart article, based on a conspiracy theorist's podcast.

I knew the 2 of you would have the same answer..lol. We all know Obuma could do anything he pleased under the table and get away with it. He could just drop a hint and someone would follow thru to do it.

They have as much evidence as the liberals do of the Trump campaign working with the Russians. Funny how things only work one way for you.

On another new note....they had a pro Trump rally here yesterday that supporters showed up for downtown. Nothing was damaged, no fires or fights. THEN the liberals showed up and started their usual crap so half the police department had to show up. Now heres a question...why do half of the liberals show up with faces covered in masks or scarves? Is it because theyre ashamed or scared their friends, co workers or employers might recognize them. Makes them look like criminals to me...they came planning to do stuff and dont want to be identified is the only reason I can see. It wasnt cold enough for them to say it was to stay warm.

still being fought tooth and nail by democrats...no matter what.

Supreme Court nominee wasnt even scheduled to start confirmation hearing until at least the end of March...so more putting the cart before the horse liberal crap.

NOTHING in DC goes fast, despite Trump trying his best. Every step he takes forward, democrats kick back 2. He wanted it done as one of the first tasks, along with keeping illegals out. Liberals are fighting every stage of everything they can as hard as they can. There even fighting issuance of parking passes at the Capitol for new members of Congress saying seniority should get preference. Heaven forbid a new republican representative gets a closer spot to the door.

Trumps cabinet is because he hasn't presented the paperwork...its his fault.
And if the democrats are stopping a healthcare plan, why hasn't that plan been released yet?

Stuff doesn't move slow in Washington just "because", its the negotiations and votes that take time. We are not even at that stage with the ACA replacement yet..

BULLCRAP

You need to stop trying to glean your miniscule understanding of "things legal" from leftie blogs.
They don't have any better grasp of 50 USC 1801, et seq. than you do.

FISA evades the regular federal court process, by not allowing regularly, Constitutionally appointed federal judges and their magistrates to authorize surveillance the Fourth Amendment would otherwise forbid. Instead, the Chief Justice handpicks the FISA court members, who have shown an exceptional deference to the executive branch.

OH OK. Now you're a lawyer too. No. MAKING THINGS REALLY BIG AND BOLD DOESN'T MAKE YOU ANY MORE CORRECT.

The facts may elude you, due your hyper-partisan beliefs, but even still, the President cannot order such surveillance. Stop getting your information and "legal things" from right wing conspiracy blogs. They don't have any better grasp of 50 USC 1801, et seq. than you do.

From one of your sources.

Former Attorney General Michael Mukasey on Sunday said that President Trump is likely correct that there was surveillance on Trump Tower for intelligence purposes, but incorrect in accusing former President Barack Obama of ordering the wiretapping.

Your a joke man. My thread, ill put what I want in it. Im on topic as much as your pitiful crap will allow.

I just watched an interview from the NY DAs Office. Obumas FBI made a request for a warrant for all phone and email access to Trumps Campaign in June 2016, relating to its contacts with Russian bank and financial institutions. That request was turned down. In October, the request for the warrant was amended to remove Trumps name from the warrant, and a FISA judge and court granted that warrant in regards to Trumps campaign workers in October. The DA says that request to FISA has to be thru the Attorney Generals Office, which in turn would have had to have some contact with the White House. So if Obuma and the AG office did not technically make the request themselves, they MUST have had knowlege of the whole thing for it to get to a FISA judge. FISA granted the warrant for all phone and email data from Trumps campaign.

Only the last two dont have all the paperwork submitted because they are second choices after others had problems for democrats. The stalls on all the others was all on the democrats blowing farts out their azzes.

Yes it does just 'because'. The democrats couldnt even get a budget plan out within a year. I dont hold it against the administration waiting to throw out the (supposed) affordable health care before they have a replacement ready. Last I heard as of today, Obamacare may get thrown out by next week and a new plan installed...unless you goofy azz libs figure out another way to drag something out another year. All the democrats are about is interference...interference...dont do anything we cant get credit for doing. Maybe just trying to stall everything for 2 years, hoping they might get back enough Senate and House seats to take control back. Its not the DC swamp, its the DC democratic sewer. Want to take a bet that democrats will let ANY new administration health care plan pass? They would fight it even if Trump says he will personally pay for everyones insurance plan. If they do submit a plan this or next week, we will see what they do. The only thing I would concede, is that they should have worked harder towards a new plan for the last year during the campaign. Would have been great to submit one the first week in office, but everyone knows how that would have went. A decent plan shouldnt need any negotiations and a vote takes an hour or two.

Please explain with as much particularity as you can, exactly how this changes anything. What specifically do expect to happen?

A "distraction" from what exactly?

You say that you "didn't bring this up", yet you obviously involved yourself in the discussion and you made the accusation that the President "is lying".

Jesus guys.

You should know by now that it's only the truth if the Lefties claim it's the truth... Like the Russians being behind Trump being elected, that's 10000000000% true. No doubts at all..

This thing, it wasn't phrased exactly right, so it never happened.

Lighten up, boys. It's time for a "posting break". The truth always tastes sweeter when you have a smile on your face.

Here's former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort impersonating Sylvester Stallone. I swear, he (Manafort) looks and sounds just like "Sly" . It's not just me, is it? I think Manafort's got's this!

Carter Page has been described as having been an unpaid foreign policy advisor to the Trump campaign. Here's Carter Page impersonating... I dunno... Carter Page?

Back to work... this ain't no joke. Former Director of National Intelligence, James R. Clapper, "met the press" on Sunday. He responds to questions from NBC News anchor Chuck Todd. Search tags "Russia", "hacking", "election", "Trump", "Obama", "Trump Tower", "wiretaps". A "gripping" 7+ minutes on air.

Of course there are doubts as to how deeply the Russians were involved and if Trump or his team had knowledge of it that's why an investigation is needed, there seems to be evidence that warrants it but this latest Trump tweet about wiretapping seems utterly baseless.

Right... There is all kinds of evidence.... Emails that were obtained via Phishing....

I should probably release at this time that I worked for Russian Operative Yakov Smirnoff for a few months in Branson when I was a teen.

These damned Russian ties are gonna sink us all!!!

As a rule I've found President Trump to speak the truth. Even when the Left has screamed forever over things, at some point in the future he's been found to be speaking the truth. He may not be a polished talker like the lifetime Politicians are, but that is one of the things I like about him.

No. FISC denied the warrant for the request which included members of Trump's campaign. The warrant was approved after, when it was resubmitted, with only data on the Russians. Which means that if Trump's campaign members had data captured by that warrant, then they were communicating with those Russians.

Well too bad roger. I don't need your permission to call you by your name. It is your name. If you can't deal with someone calling you roger, your own given name, when you are calling people names as an insult, then well, go get a box of tissues you crybaby.

These damned Russian ties are gonna sink us all!!!
e future he's been found to be speaking the truth. He may not be a polished talker like the lifetime Politicians are, but that is one of the things I like about him.

Trump has literally almost never said a true word during the last two years.

At no point "in the future" has ever been found to have spoken the truth. He can't even tell the same lie twice. It's always new lies, and constantly. He can't handle not constantly being the center of attention.

What you like, is that he says things you agree with, whether or not they are true. You think it's true, because you agree with it, not because it's actually true.

A moment of silence for all the victims in Bowling Green.

Oh please, post up the usual list of links to CNN and other left wing lie sites that agree with what you say.

It's sad how you weren't saying crap when your saviour Obama was in office.

Edit to add: And I'm going to play your petty little game. If you don't post something for every day over the past two years it doesn't count.

That would be the same James Clapper that lied under oath to Congress about domestic surveillance practices?
Not a particularly reliable source.....

And the Washington Post's Glenn Kessler awarded the former Director of National Intelligence (James R. Clapper) "three Pinocchios" for that one.

But I've seen worse.

They have as much evidence as the liberals do of the Trump campaign working with the Russians. Funny how things only work one way for you.

First - Patently false.
Two - No, there's evidence suggesting Russia meddled in the election. But guess what Trump did? He dismissed it and blamed the entire intel community, and has been uncooperative towards an investigation.

Fact is Trump made this BS up. It's absolutely appalling that an hour after he made such charged accusations he takes to twitter about a TV show; Trump is a small man with absolutely zero class.

You'd figure with such claims, he'd present the evidence for such. He explicitly stated Obama had his phones tapped but now he's demanding an investigation. This is complete shoot first, then aim, which is Trumps typical style. . . I would bet this time Trump might have bit off more than he can chew. Not only did he indict Obama, but also the FBI with his comments, suggesting the FBI acted as they did (illegally) during watergate. This is why Comey has come out against Trumps charges.

I know you Trumpers will defend literally anything Trump says, but this is serious.

AGAIN FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME, Obama is no savior, he wasn't destroying the country from the inside, and I didn't vote for him. He was no worse than GWB really. Not much better either, but eh. Trump has empowered hatred in this country, and that hatred has been tearing this forum down for years. So yeah, I got fed up and I cam in here to call it out and hopefully help get this forum back on the right track instead of running members off with all the hatred people like you spit constantly over here in T/OT, and then end up dragging over into Tech and General too.

Don't need to do much research, here's a pretty comprehensive list of Trump's falsehoods: http://www.politifact.com/p...ld-trump/statements/

It's 27 pages, and there are few in there related to Trump, but aren't directly from him, but overall the vast majority of his statements are flat out false. He gets his news from far right conspiracy theorists, one of which is his right hand man.

So yeah, oh please is right.
