Jen, what they told you is wrong. The room block wasn't even close to being sold out. I'll pass this on to Mary, and see if we can help straighten this out.

The show is on Saturday morning. The Banquet and awards ceremony is Saturday night.

Our reserved room rate has been extended to June 30th. That is the last day to get our reduced rates. After that the rates will be going up. If anyone else was rejected out of our reserved block let me know so I can follow up with the hotel and get it corrected.

We will be posting more info and registration forms soon.

Finally, got the reduced rate. Sometimes thier computer was down or they were busy and had me call back. Hopefully, there will be no more hiccups with our reservation.

Still trying to get the car together..... less than 4 weeks left....

Whooo hoooo! Glad to hear you are trying to join us Marcus. Also very pleased to know that the hotel has the rates corrected for everyone calling in.

We are sending out the Westfest info and registration package in the mail in the next couple of days. If there is anyone out there that is wanting to come and doesn't think I have their address please send it to me so I can mail you the info package. If you have moved and have not updated me with your new address please send me your new address.

We are still needing an Emcee for the evening and judges for the show. I would like to get someone from each car club if possible.

Deadline to get your reservations in at the reduced rate is June 30th! Call them now!

Marcus,

Been missing you. Hope to see you and your fantastic wife at the show.

More information for everyone:

Mailed out the Info and registration forms today. If I've got your mailing address you should receive it in the next couple of days. Please let me know if you have moved this last year so I can update and send you the forms.

I also have more information. The children's (age 12 and younger) price for the banquet will be $13.00 (includes the tip and tax) each. Children can either eat from the banquet spread or order off the children's menu. Children's menu includes Chicken Nuggets, Fried Sole, Spaghetti, or Buttered Bow Tie Pasta. There might be more items available. I was taking quick notes and might have missed a few items.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

All 20 of our room block were reserved before the deadline yesterday, and I think we got a few folks added on who ended up not in the discount block. Looks like we will have a good crowd for the show.

We are close to being done. All we need is another 2 or 3 months. BUT I think we can get the car there in a "patch work" fashion?

I'd hate to get stuck in the dive bar.... Although I see a disco ball.. I know, I know.. We are there for the show.... I calculate about 8 hours drive from SoCal..... I like the hunted facts though... I want room 46 if I go and have coffee on the balcony with the other spirits too.

I just finished my engine too.... damn. I'll still think about it. 5oo break-in miles aren't supposed to be on the freeway though.

It really isn't as "in the sticks" as it looks. It is very close to Highway 17, (which has to be my favorite road to break speed limits on in a Fiero) and you are in Santa Cruz in 5 minutes one way, Los Gatos 10 minutes the other way. Highway 9 and Skyline Boulevard are very popular with sport bikers, and it isn't surprising to see exotic cars getting worked out on the twisty mountain roads. The speed limit is 55, and highly enforced, but that is fast enough on this road!

There are plenty of party locations, and as a resident of Monterey Bay and a long time "local", I would be happy to concierge for any out of town guests. Hit me a PM for info.

Hey Fiero Fans,

Just 9 more days to go!

I just got word that someone who reserved a room at Brookdale for Westfest had a change of plans and will now not be able to attend our fun festivities.

She is offering her reservation up to see if there is anyone who still wants to get a room at the discounted prices before she cancels. She would gladly transfer the reservation over into another name if they respond fast enough.

Please let me know if you are interested ASAP.

Thanks,

Mary

Stephen,

You can register for the show on that day. It is best to register and sign up for the banquet early as you save money. Those that send in their registration before the 10th save $8.00 on their banquet tickets. Prepaying by July 10th for the banquet is $29.00, after it is $37.00.

Look forward to seeing you there.

Ok, leaving LA in a bit.. considering stopping in Santa Barbara for a concert tonight. I'll make it tomorrow but I don't know what time. If I miss the judging I'll still stay and hang out! See you all there.

The story on this car is that it's owned by one of our club members. I didn't hear why he brought it instead of his Formula. We have a "Special Interest" catagory for kit cars what we keep open in the hope that some Fiero-based kits will show up (as they have in the past). This year there weren't any entries, so for fun, we put the 'Vette in the show.

1st place Stock Notchback - very clean t-top Formula

2nd place Stock Notchback - low mileage Indy
