neighborhood Fiero Club. Here is some information on
some upcoming Fiero and/or car events:
Saturday, August 7
Car show at Magnussen Ford, Newark. Registration is
$25, and you compete for prizes, including a $15,000
interior or exterior restoration. Deadline is July 28

Pacific Grove Concours Auto Rally
Car show, drive, dinner
registration $50 , $60 includes driver's dinner (plus
$15 late registration, it's past the deadline)

Saturday-Sunday, August 21-22
Feather River Run
We will drive up the central valley to Oroville, then
drive through the scenic Feather River Canyon, have
dinner and spend the night in Quincy. We plan to drive
back either via Truckee and I-80 or on 49 through Yuba
Canyon.

Wine Country Drive
Napa to Middletown
This is our annual drive on the backroads of the wine
country. Curvy roads, light traffic, lunch at a
brewpub in Middletown. Some folks will be returning
after lunch on Saturday, some will be continuing to
Clear Lake to spend the night. Please let us know if
you are attending the lunch so we can make
reservations. If you are staying overnight, also let
us know so we can reserve motel rooms. Contact Roy

2nd Annual Coast Run
November 12-14
San Simeon
We will be doing the second annual Coast Run, starting
at the same place we held the Westfest car show, at
the Courtesy Inn at San Simeon. We will also have the
same $59 rate for rooms. No waxing, cleaning or
competition, this time. There will be a drive up the
coast via Highway 1 to Monterey, stop for lunch, and
return for an evening dinner and party on Saturday
evening. Possible beach party and bonfire are in the
works.
