Just like Michigan trying to claim it was Right Wing extremists plotting to kidnap the Governor.. was anarchists, mainly registered Democrat if they'd voted at all in the past, and had anti-Trump rhetoric on social media.

I followed a link that is embedded in the Front Page report that Hudini posted, to the report of October 23 in the Washington Post.

"A 19-year-old with a van full of guns and explosives plotted to assassinate Biden, federal officials say"
Timothy Bella for the Washington Post; October 23, 2020.
https://www.washingtonpost....-assassination-plot/

Bella's report of October 23 for WaPo--the Washington Post--does not describe Alexander Hillel Treisman as a "right-wing extremist" or make any kind of assertions about Treisman having been provoked or inspired by "MAGA" or by anything that Donald Trump has said or done, or by anything else about Trump or Trump's supporters and political allies.

From the Front Page report by Robert Spencer:

quote
Buried in the fifteenth paragraph of the Washington Post story on Treisman, is the salient fact that Treisman wanted to kill Biden to “save bernie [sic].”

That's just "spin." Ludicrous, really, from the Front Page and Robert Spencer. The intersection of Treisman's obvious mental illness and Bernie Sanders is not "buried" in WaPo's report of October 23. It's 14 paragraphs into the report, but there's nothing about it that makes it any more important than the 14 paragraphs in the Washington Post that preceded it.

Coloring outside the lines again today? It's best to grasp the crayons between your thumb and first two fingers firmly, but not too firmly. If you move the crayons around too quickly, you make a drawing that looks more like abstract art than the Choo Choo Train on page 5 that Mrs Wright has picked out for this morning's project.

So what you are saying is this is not newsworthy because he is just another mentally ill leftist. Nothing unusual or out of the ordinary.

Talk about a slow day here on Totally Off Topic. There hasn't been a "peep" from anyone here in almost 5 hours--until now. Just an observation, no more than that. I wasn't anywhere near my "peep" generating space (desktop Mac system) during this time. Not a single "peep" has submitted so much as a single "peep." Not so much as a peep from a peep in almost 5 straight hours. Almost 300 uninterrupted minutes. Almost 18,000 seconds. Or 1.8 x 1025 zep's (zeptoseconds.)

Or any less, and it's noteworthy to most of us, that the wapo sure didn't put it in the headline or even first lead-in paragraph.
I'm surprised Jeff Bezos allowed it to be mentioned at all.

rinse, your self-limited choices of information are leaving you woefully ignorant of what is going on in the world......

Self-inflicted ignorance - something anyone can change, if only they have the curiosity to try.

And I’m sure he could say the exact same thing about you, since no proof is required to make such a ridiculous claim about something you could have no way of knowing.

But let me guess; YOU got the inside track on “what’s going on in the World”.

I’ve seen you over the years describe what you think is “going on” in the World across many differing situations.*

You don’t have any more special insight into things we can’t possibly know all the facts on then anyone else.

*Weren’t you one of those Obama “birthers”?

In the case of this Alexander Hillel Treisman, who among other complaints, was allegedly plotting the assassination of Joe Biden, it's not so much the facts that are in dispute; it's the reporting about it from different venues that forum member Hudini has served up here as a "bone of contention."

Hudini opened this topic with a report from Robert Spencer in FRONTPAGE, which is (by its own online explanation) a media arm of a conservative right-wing think tank. FRONTPAGE's Robert Spencer calls out Twitter ("one Twitter leftist") and the Washington Post, Huffington Post and the Times of Israel for putting a "pro-Trump" or "MAGA" label on Treisman, when the facts about Treisman suggest something very different.

Unless my eyes are failing me, there's not a single reference to "Trump" or "MAGA" in the three news reports that FRONTPAGE's Robert Spencer singled out as misleading. Not in the Washington Post. Not in the Huffington Post. And not in the Times of Israel.

So what am I to make of Hudini's "first pitch" here? Or rather, his opening play from scrimmage, as the 2020 baseball season is now history.

Robert Spencer can say whatever he wants about Twitter and Twitter "leftists." But Spencer whiffed completely on his attempts to take down the Washington Post, Huffington Post and the Times of Israel over their reporting about Alexander Hillel Treisman. Whatever fault might be found here with WaPo, HuffPo or the Times of Israel, the FRONTPAGE and Robert Spencer are way more full of crap than any of the (three) MSM or Mainstream Media venues that he was trying to tackle.

In each case, the MSM or Mainstream Media reporting "took it to the house" like a "pick six", leaving FRONTPAGE and Robert Spencer face down at the 50-yard line, with his face buried in the turf and his face mask clogged with uprooted grass from the playing field.

Ain't that the truth?

Boondawg can respond to any public message. It's in the rules. It's like football. As long as he's "playing" the message itself, and not interfering with the intended receiver of the message. Or "roughing" the sender of the message.

I see ambiguity in "What''s it to you (Boondawg)..?"

Is that just about the last sentence from Boondawg, which is about Obama and birther'ism? Or is that about everything that Boondawg said in his previous message? Or is that about everything that Boondawg said in his previous message, except that last part about Obama and birther'ism? Or is that about everything that Boondawg has ever said on the forum since his very first post? So many possibilities.
