I've been watching a docu series that's been on tv the past couple weeks, were they are exploring the shipwrecks of old slave ships, and finding all kinds of artifacts and stuff. and also shows how those poor people were packed and stacked into the ships to be hauled and sold off.. Crazy stuff. Its on the Epix channel, and hosted by Samuel L. Jackson.

Under the heading of, 'hmm, I didn't now that' is that there have been more Whites enslaved in North Africa than Africans enslaved in North America. In fact that's where the word originates.

History and Etymology for (the word) "slave"

Noun

Middle English sclave, from Anglo-French or Medieval Latin; Anglo-French esclave, from Medieval Latin sclavus, from Sclavus Slav; from the frequent enslavement of Slavs in central Europe during the early Middle Ages

First Known Use of slave
Noun
14th century, in the meaning defined at sense 1

Verb
1602, in the meaning defined at transitive sense 2

Adjective
1576, in the meaning defined at sense 1b

Curiously Sally Hemming, a slave owned by Thomas Jefferson, had 1 African grandparent and 3 European grandparents. So why is her European enslavement not recognized as victimhood? Because of the erroneous application of One Drop rules.

Trigger words in the USA aren't trigger words in Africa but racialists in the USA won't allow that once they move to the USA.

Trevor Noah: Looking back, Trevor told Terry Gross that it was tough growing up as a colored child (in South Africa).

In the USA it's improper to use the term 'colored' .However in South Africa it's the practical convention to classify races as Whites, Blacks and Coloureds, the latter being mixed race Black African and White. Trevor's father is Swiss-German and his mother looks obviously mixed.

In America Trevor is reclassified as Black, instead of the proper mixed race descriptor as are people like Barack Obama and Katherine Johnson who was the mathematician in the book/movie Hidden Figures.
She made Barack look Black when he awarded her the Medal of Freedom.

Why is government discriminating against mixed race people? Where' the "MIXED" box? Mixed people don't rate as worthy to government, right?

What's that about?

Race or racial differentiation--genetically inherited physical distinctions among humans--is a consequence of the geographical separations that divided Homo Sapiens into subpopulations, in an evolutionary process that mostly transpired before there was any deliberately recorded history for us to learn about.

I don't think there's any scientific belief (among scientists) that darker skinned people evolved alongside lighter skinned people, or that Asian-looking people evolved alongside "white" people in some common prehistoric homeland and then became segregated from one another by migrating to different parts of the world. That would be the reversal of Cause and Effect.

I don't understand what is behind this remark (from sourmash) or where it is "going."

Is it a tautology? A "so what" kind of statement that is true, but that doesn't go anywhere or add any information or quantum of thought to a discussion? A statement that is self-evident, but completely redundant?

?

Barack Hussein Obama II is an American politician and attorney who served as the 44th president of the United States from 2009 to 2017. A member of the Democratic Party, Obama was the first African-American president of the United States.

Institutional racism and systemic racism deleted his European-American genetics just as it deletes millions of others.

It was only 6 words. Separate doesn't mandate contemporaneous development nor was the development limited only tophysical attributes. I'm positive God appreciates the diversity in diverse lands. Remember the Tower of Babel and separation of spoken language when men got uppity?

Also of interest, Jesus said, "I've come (from Father God) only for the children of Jacob-Israel."
I celebrate diversity and want it maintained especially since the establishment wants it dissolved-and gets triggered by such.
