The F-104 is very cool, but over on the right side of the page is GT40 chassis #109, a very rare car indeed.

I've always thought it was cool when people owned (and restored) old military vehicles and planes. Especially the planes... because of what they are, they're rare and often never find a home... and end up getting scrapped... so it's nice when at least one of every plane finds a home somewhere.

Reminds me of when my aunt/uncle lived in South Florida. Across the canal from them (about 100 meters away), the person in the home behind them (on the other side of the canal) had an old US WW2 tank... I don't know what model... maybe a Sherman tank? Anyway, it was parked on the side of their house with the big ass white star on the side... and the barrel was aimed right at their home, hahah... I'm sure they didn't have any shells for it, but either way, there it was. It sat there for like a year, and then it disappeared.

Cheaper than a truck but you'd probably need a longer driveway.
