Often is Not the case for many and that's not for "gaming" machines or needing high performance.
just buying a descent GPU can starting at ~ $200... Can spend $500 to 1000+ just for this.
Lenevo Thinkcenter is ~ same as Dell Optiplex, Most HP units and related and mainly sold/leased to Enterprise buyers.
That is why so many are available to referb...
When I worked for a "fortune 500" company I dealt w/ Many Thousands of units every year as the original warranty or lease ended.
We "shipped" most to Arrow Recovery that certify recycle/destroy to conform to EPA and other rules who then sold "good" units to the referb people.
1-year warranty by what store/company? Many of the referb warranties are worse-less.
