Where I work, we have had roughly 1100 cases of the vid. So far I know of 6 deaths and I have no idea how many hospitalizations. I do not know the exact number of people there but my guess is around 8,000. That is is an infection rate of about 1 in every 8 people and a death rate of 1 in every 180 infections. And I know of one person that has had it twice. The second infection was 2 months after the first. I know this is not representative of America or the World, but it certainly warrants some protective gear. This covid is not a joke, it is real and people should avoid it. A side note that some may or may not know, talking to people who have had it, the stories are some what related but also have distinct differences. But several people say they have breathing issues weeks after the infection is cleared. They are hoping the damage to the lungs is not debilitating. We already know the lung damage is permanent.
STAY SAFE, take some precautions

Agreed. 2 in-laws & a member of my family now have it. It's no joke, for sure.
I'm not worried though, the President of the United States sez it's just "fake news" and a "Democratic hoax". Not much I could do anyway, his "WitchDoctor" sez it's from alien DNA...

I for the most part agree with Trump. He is correct about his political rivals using this Pandemic as a political tool "never let a good crisis go to waste". It is literally in their political play book. Rules for radicals. I do not agree with everyone he deals with and I do not agree with everything he says but I absolutely believe he is dead on correct about the democrats propagandization of the Pandemic.
He is correct about his political rivals using this ________ as a political tool "never let a good crisis go to waste". ...the democrats propagandization of _______.
Surely you're not suggesting it is solely a tool of only one side? You do remember it's use on President Obama, right?
It amazes me how one side forgets all about their previous-used tactics when those same tactics are currently being applied to their guy...

I never implied such, those are your words, not mine. I hardly think you are amazed that human nature dictates that words are weapons. And yes, the vast majority of humanity throughout time and history has to some degree used words, quotes, ideologies and quotes out of context to make a point. Even you Boon. In context, this Pandemic is exploited for political gain by the democrats. Trump was and is absolutely correct in this respect.

Leftists claim that the decision between a woman and her abortionist to kill her baby is “sacred” and private and never to be questioned... but doctors who seek to use a 60 year old long approved and used drug to help their Chicom-virus patients are savaged and censored by those same Leftists.

Selecting the CC (Closed Captioning) option is recommended. Helps cut through that accent. Especially if you don't have or want to put it on speaker. Or you could try to lip read it, if you're really good.
