2019 Ducati Hypermotard 950. Rode it about 180 miles home.

Bought it new, 2 miles showing. Hopefully it doesn't make a mechanic out of me too soon...

Nice ride. Always wanted to add a Ducati to my garage.

Very nice. I always loved how Ducati made it simple yet elegant. No overloaded fairings, just mini fenders, a tank, and a seat on top of a nice motor. Built for speed

By the way, I had to do a double-take looking at the photo and then your avatar. For a minute, I thought they were the same photo.

Avatar picture is my old air cooled 250r. One of few "vehicles" I have gotten rid of.

Wow! Is that a CA77 or CA72? Those are getting to be serious collector's items.

I believe it is the CA77. 305 Dream.

It was my grandpa's. He left it at the house when my parents bought it. I got it running when I was 15 or 16 and learned to ride it.

My dad "restored" it over the last few years.

I have old photos in my photobucket, just afraid to log into it.

Edit: thinking about it, I might have been younger, maybe like 13. My 2 older brothers couldn't get it. We only grew up with a gokart.

First casualty. Had it in my parents driveway, while working on something out in the garage. A kayak my dad had leaning against the house blew over on it and luckily just took the mirror and handguard, and didn't knock the bike over.

It's not an "earned" scar though...

I ordered factory parts and apparently I am waiting for them to come from Bologna.

Got my replacement mirror and handguard in the mail last week and got it installed, nothing to exciting...

But today I recieved something I ordered be fore them.

Thses are just a couple little pieces of plastic, but I got them installed and I like the difference.

They are spacers to take the play out of the twist throttle. Came with the special tri-wing bit and good color instructions. Installation was only a couple of minutes.

Simple parts and Installation, with a noticeable change. I am happy

Suppose to take the bike in for the first service today. I think I am going to have to call and cancel. We have light rain here, which I could deal with. But looking at Birmingham, Mi's weather, where the dealer is, they are getting hammered- with 1-2" of rain expected this morning.

/\ Ended up rescheduling for 2 days later and got the service done no issues. Glad I didn't do it in the rain.

Today I took on the project of eliminating the "fender."

I love the look of getting rid of all that junk hanging of the back.

But I am not thrilled about my new plate mount.
