If you happen to have a C5, this is a super common problem - and not too hard of a fix is you know how to solder.

Every step of the process A thru Z!

You should have your own website featuring Corvette tips and tricks. Seems like you know quite a lot about the car.

If it is plastic (fiberglass, smc, tupperware) and was made by GM I like it! Dig the Fiero too - which is what brought me to this website many years ago.

Fixing soldering joints will probably help 60% of the gremlins in any electronic device that heat cycles or vibrates.

Take care of your tip
I am also guilty of being too busy to take care of a tool that I don't use very often.

I appreciate the videos!!

From past tools I now understand why I had trouble.
The iron I have now is in great shape and I only put it away after I tin it.
